Hawkins Brothers Antiques Ltd is a three generation family run business with over one hundred & fifty years experience in antique trading and furniture manufacturing.

ANTIQUE REPLICA REPRODUCTION

Our well established antique replica department, under the control of the Head Proprietor Terence Hawkins, the business has established a reputation for the production of high quality Antique Replica Furniture with our skilled workforce using only the finest solid timbers and hand picked veneers.

The formative years has seen the business grow, supplying the U.K, European and The U.S markets. The business has been operating in Barry, near Cardiff in South Wales where we employ highly skilled staff, supported by an administration team. Our combined antique replica workshops & antiques premises consists of 40,000 square feet of showrooms with a minimum of 1,500 pieces of furniture on display at any one time. This includes a large free parking area where customer's can browse at their leisure and receive help and advise on their own unique individual furniture requirements.

If you cannot find anything from our extensive showrooms, then we can manufacture any piece of furniture in any style using any timber to suit your required specifications. Our skilled craftsmen and designers are able to supply individual pieces of furniture or we can create a total interior design based on your needs. New designs are continually being created from our staff working with our clients' drawings and our workforces are always keen to embark on new projects. We are specialists in the creation of shaped furniture.

Every piece whether a small and simple end table or a magnificent secretaire breakfront library bookcase , carries that unmistakable feel of individuality, character and quality that makes our furniture a joy to own and a pleasure to use.

As well as our Antique Replica Department we have a full selection of over three million pounds of original antique furniture on display, from late 17th Century to the early 1900's suitable for all markets. We have housed some of the finest quality and historical items of furniture from the UK & the European Market and found many of our items in the homes of many celebrities over the years.

We also have a wide and varied selection of antique furniture that is being exported and imported from our warehouse on a weekly basis. We are in constant flux of new and exciting antique furniture coming in and out of our showrooms every day which will be displayed on our website page and constantly updated weekly. We offer a full antique restoration from our onsite workshops. We employ 3 Cabinet Makers & 2 French Polishers, all highly skilled and all have full apprenticeships.
